Chef Nadina will guide you through:
Cooking sushi rice and making sushi vinegar (Sushizu)
Knife skills for slicing fish and vegetables
Rolling techniques for maki, nigiri, and vegetarian rolls
Tips on selecting and preparing fish for sushi and sashimi
Creating gluten-free and vegetarian options
A brief history of sushi and its evolution in Japanese culture
On the Menu: Sushi rice, tuna, yellowtail, salmon, shrimp, eel, crab, tofu, and a variety of fresh vegetables including cucumber, avocado, carrot, and asparagus. We’ll also enjoy tempura treats like sweet potatoes, zucchini, and carrots.
Whether you’re a sushi lover or a curious beginner, this class will leave you rolling like a pro and inspired to create your own sushi feasts at home.
